BeAnne's spiritual journey began in a Kundalini class when she realized there was more to us than meets the eye. She discovered the connection between mind, body, and spirit by focusing on the breath. She explored Sivananda Yoga, as well as, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Bikram, and Power Flow. Over time she began to incorporate pranayama, asana, yogic diet, rest, and meditation into her lifestyle and received many benefits as her practice blossomed and became more of an inward journey...a personal transformation.

BeAnne graduated from the Advanced 500 credit hour teacher training program in June 2008 at the Peachtree Yoga Center in Atlanta, GA under the instruction of Graham Fowler and Ursula Nix. She explored the deeper teachings of the Yoga Sutras under the personal guidance of a world-renowned expert Sanskrit professor from the University of Paris. She has a thorough understanding and knowledge of the physical and mental practice of hatha yoga and

uses hands-on adjustments to help align her students and take them deeper in to a pose.

BeAnne has come to know the gift of breath and how pranayama can transform one's personal experience on and off the mat. She learned powerful meditation techniques, which led her to a place of incredible silence. Through self-inquiry, she was able to awaken to a place of pure consciousness and profound awareness, as yoga has an intense affect on the physical, mental, and emotional body.

The one thing that separates us from one another is the ego...the identities we associate ourselves with...the masks we hide behind...the characters we play. When we are all aware and in a place of pure consciousness, we are in the same place, as we are part of an interconnected whole. Life is about finding balance and yoga and meditation can bring a student to a place of divine equanimity and to a beautiful place of stillness where you will find yourself...your true essential nature.
